Islamabad High Court Summons ZTBL's President In Employees Dismissal Case

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday summoned the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) president and two other officers in a petition challenging the removal of bank's employees by the management despite court's restricting orders.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday summoned the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) president and two other officers in a petition challenging the removal of bank's employees by the management despite court's restricting orders.

Justice Aamir Farooq of the IHC resumed hearing over a petition filed by General Secretary of ZTBL Employees Union Muhammad Iqbal Khattak through his counsel Arif Chaudhry Advocate.

The petitioner had stated in his plea that the ZTBL management had dismissed services of three employees despite of the court's stay orders.

During the hearing, the court expressed displeasure over the absence of bank management's representative in compliance of its notices and summoned the three senior bank officers, including the presiden, in person on next date of hearing besides maintaining its stay orders against the removal of employees.

The case was adjourned till last week of November.
