Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and US Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun have discussed the situation on the Korean Peninsula at talks in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 16th October, 2018) Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and US Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun have discussed the situation on the Korean Peninsula at talks in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
"The sides exchanged views on the situation around the Korean Peninsula. They commended the efforts of the countries involved in the settlement process. The parties agreed to step up efforts in the interests of a speedy political and diplomatic solution to all problems of the subregion, including the nuclear issue," the ministry's statement read.
