VLADIVOSTOK (Russia) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 16th October, 2018) Lawmakers of the legislature of Russia's Far East Primorsky Territory decided on Tuesday to hold the new governor election on December 16, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
Earlier in the day, the regional parliamentary Committee on Regional Policy and Legality recommended to hold the governor election on December 16.
A total of 30 lawmakers out of 35 voted for this date. Five more lawmakers have not visited the legislature's session.
Last month, two rounds of the governor election took place in the Primorsky Territory, however, the results were annulled due to multiple violations during the voting process.
