Govt Taking Measures To Strengthen National Economy: Shafqat Mahmood

Minister for Education and Professional Training,Shafqat Mahmood Monday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was taking comprehensive measures to strengthen the national economy, which was badly damaged by the previous PML-N government.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :Minister for education and Professional Training,Shafqat Mahmood Monday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was taking comprehensive measures to strengthen the national economy, which was badly damaged by the previous PML-N government.
The country's economy was in worst condition due to wrong policies of the last government, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said the previous government, due to mismanagement and corruption, had destroyed all the national institutions.
Shafqat Mehmood said corruption was reported in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
To a question, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan was an honest person, who was adopting austerity measures to reduce expenditures to save public money. Visible change would be seen in next six months, he added.
To a query, he said PTI was victorious with thumping majority in by-election.
