Space Agencies to Discuss ISS Cooperation at International Conference in Moscow- Roscosmos

The heads of the space agencies participating in the International Space Station (ISS) Program will discuss their further cooperation at a conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ISS in Moscow in November, a spokesperson for Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos told Sputnik on Saturday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th October, 2018) The heads of the space agencies participating in the International Space Station (ISS) Program will discuss their further cooperation at a conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ISS in Moscow in November, a spokesperson for Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos told Sputnik on Saturday.

"It will be an international conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the International Space Station. It will take place on November 18-19 in Moscow at VDNKh [trade fair and amusement park]," the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that the event would be attended by the heads of the space agencies and veterans of the industry who had taken part in the assembly of the ISS.

The ISS program was launched in 1998 and currently involves space agencies from Russia, the United States, Canada, Japan, and the European Space Agency (ESA).
