Minister Visits Badshahi Mosque

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Oct, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Auqaf Pir Saeed-ul-Hassan here on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to the area of holy relics at Badshahi Mosque.
The minister directed to take strict action against those officers and officials who were found absent from the duty. He also reviewed the security arrangements of holy relics.
On this occasion while talking to media representatives, the minister said that security system made by Islamic brotherly country Turkey would be installed for the protection and security of holy relics. He said that security matters should not be taken lightly. He directed that security of mosque and area of holy relics should be carried out round the clock.
He said that action would be taken under PEEDA act against those who shown negligence during the duty. He said that process of promotion had been linked with performance. He said that eradication of corrupt mafia from the Auqaf Department was the mission of Chief Minister Punjab.
Later, the Provincial Minister along with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sahibzada Pir Noorul Haq attended the book launching ceremony of Dr. Tahir Raza Bukhari in Data Darbar.
Earlier, they laid floral wreath and offered Fateha on the shrine of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh Ali Hajveri (RA).
