Possible impact of tropical cyclone "Luban" on country's coastline including Karachi has greatly subsided, said Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) officials here on Tuesday.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Oct, 2018 ) :Possible impact of tropical cyclone "Luban" on country's coastline including Karachi has greatly subsided, said Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) officials here on Tuesday.
The officials associated with Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre, Karachi maintained that the cyclonic storm "Luban" has largely lost its intensity.
"We have recorded it to be more than 1,500 Kilometers away from Karachi and other coastal areas of Sindh and some 1,430 Kilometers from that of Balochistan," they said.
Mentioning that the situation was being constantly monitored by them, the officials said the tropical cyclonic storm was, however, expected to hit Yemen's and Omani coast.
Attributing hot weather condition in Karachi to disrupted sea breeze, they said the temperature may decline by Wednesday.
