Trump Participated In Tax Fraud Schemes In 1990s To Boost Family Fortune - Reports

WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 03rd October, 2018) US President Donald Trump took part in questionable tax schemes during the 1990s, including some cases of outright fraud that greatly increased the fortune he inherited from his mother and father, US media reports said.

Trump received the equivalent of $413 million in 2018 terms from his father Fred Trump's real estate empire, starting when he was a baby and continuing until now, the New York Times said on Tuesday, citing its own investigation.

The newspaper said its investigation studied tens of thousands of pages of confidential financial records, including more than 200 tax returns from Fred Trump, his companies and other Trump partnerships and trusts.

The paper said the documented corporate, partnership and trust tax returns it was able to access constituted the first public accounting of the income Trump received for decades from different family enterprises.

Trump attorney Charles Harder was quoted in the report as saying the newspaper's claims of fraud and tax evasion were 100 percent false and highly defamatory.
