Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on Thursday discussed with World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General Roberto Azevedo preparations for the next WTO Ministerial Conference, Nazarbayev's press office said.
ALMATY (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th September, 2018) Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on Thursday discussed with World Trade Organization (WTO) Director General Roberto Azevedo preparations for the next WTO Ministerial Conference, Nazarbayev's press office said.
"During the meeting the sides exchanged views about the development of economic cooperation in the given international situation as well as preparations for the WTO's 12th Ministerial Conference that will be held in Astana in 2020," the press service said.
In July, WTO members accepted the invitation of Kazakhstan to host the conference. It will be the organization's first ministerial conference to be held in Central Asia.
Kazakhstan joined the WTO in 2015.
