Russia will open service centers for the maintenance of previously exported helicopters in Brazil and Peru in November and December, Russian Helicopters Deputy CEO Igor Chechikov said on Thursday.
BAKU (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th September, 2018) Russia will open service centers for the maintenance of previously exported helicopters in Brazil and Peru in November and December, Russian Helicopters Deputy CEO Igor Chechikov said on Thursday.
"These two centers will be opened until the end of the year, in November-December," Chechikov said on the sidelines of the ADEX-2018 military exhibition in Azerbaijan, adding that the necessary equipment had already been delivered to Brazil and Peru.
He pointed out that the hangars would be constructed by the customers.
The Peruvian service center will be used for maintenance of four Mi-171Sh helicopters delivered in 2013. In Brazil, the center would provide maintenance to different types of helicopters, including Mi-35M aircraft.
The ADEX-2018 exhibition in Baku started on Tuesday and will end later on Thursday.
