Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi sports Council, has emphasised that naming the Arab Club Champions Cup, as the Zayed Club Champions Cup in honour of the late Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, reflects the value and status of the Founding Father, and also mirrors the strong ties that brings the UAE together with Arab countries and the whole world.
In his remarks, Sheikh Nahyan said that the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is keen on supporting and empowering the youth to achieve their aspirations and ambitions to serve their society.
He also extended thanks to HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defence for his attention and care for the youth in the Arab region and around the world.
