According to Ushakov, preparations for a possible summit were discussed in Istanbul at the level of presidential aides of the above mentioned states.
"The was a discussion mainly devoted to the possible content of the summit, however partners were not ready to discuss the specific dates or venue of this summit," Ushakov said.
The official noted that Moscow had supported the idea of holding the summit, as well as the idea to chose Istanbul as the venue for it.
"The idea is being discussed, but it is only the idea and not the specific dates or venue," Ushakov added.
