ALGIERS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd September, 2018) Russia and the United States are expected to produce equal amount of oil by 2040, an average of 10.1 million barrels per day, which is similar to current production levels, the OPEC said in the World Oil Outlook 2040.
In 2019, oil production in Russia is projected at 10.3 million barrels per day, while the United States is expected to produce an average 11.5 million barrels per day, the report added.
By 2025, oil production in Russia will stabilize at an average of 10.4 million barrels a day, in the United States - at 13.4 million barrels a day, according to the report.
