Captain, six soldiers embraced martyrdom in North Waziristan operation

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2018 ) :The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa offered the funeral prayers of a captain among six soldiers who had embraced martyrdom in an operation in North Waziristan yesterday at Rawalpindi.

According to press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday after the funeral prayers the bodies of the martyrs were being sent to respective native towns for burial with full military honour.

The ISPR said Captain Junaid belonged to Tehsil Muree and was not married, Havildar Abdul Razzaq belonged to District Astore who left behind a widow, a son and 5 daughters, Havildar Ameer belonged to District Gilgit and had heirs a widow, two sons and a daughter, Havildar Naseer belonged to Chilas, District Diamer and left behind a widow and mother, Havildar Asif belonged to District Khanewal who was also left parents, widow, 7 sisters and a brother.

Sepoy Sami Ullah belonged to District Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and Sepoy Anwar Jan belonged to District Ghizar, GB while both of them were unmarried.
