Anti-polio Drive Inaugurated In Faisalabad

As many as 1.354 million children under five years of age would be administered polio vaccine in the district during the three-day anti-polio campaign starting from Sept 24.
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2018 ) :As many as 1.354 million children under five years of age would be administered polio vaccine in the district during the three-day anti-polio campaign starting from Sept 24.
Another two days would be observed as sweeping days for administering the polio drops to the leftover children.
Divisional Commissioner Asif Iqbal Chaudhry inaugurated the campaign at a Pashtun locality near Railway Phatak, Chak No 209-RB, Jaranwala Road, on Saturday. Deputy Commissioner Syed Ahmed Fawad accompanied him while Director Health Services Dr Riaz Chadhar, CEO Health Mushtaq Sipra, DHO Dr M Asif Shahzad, Dr Bilal Ahmad and other doctors were also present.
DHO Dr M Asif Shehzad said on the occasion that all arrangements had been finalised to make the campaign successful and a total of 3,234 polio teams would take part in the campaign.
