The famous Serbian film director and musician, Emir Kusturica, called Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov his friend and said he had attended the recent talks between the top diplomat and Milorad Dodik, the president of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Republika Srpska, to see Lavrov, a Russian diplomat, who also participated in the meeting, told Sputnik on Saturday.
BANJA LUKA (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2018) The famous Serbian film director and musician, Emir Kusturica, called Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov his friend and said he had attended the recent talks between the top diplomat and Milorad Dodik, the president of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Republika Srpska, to see Lavrov, a Russian diplomat, who also participated in the meeting, told Sputnik on Saturday.
"I came to see my friend Lavrov, he said," the diplomat pointed out.
The talks between Lavrov and Dodik were held on Friday amid the former's working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Kusturica was born in Sarajevo, which is currently the capital of the Balkan country.
The filmmaker has repeatedly visited Russia. In one of the recent cases, Kusturica performed at a concert in Crimea last August.
