Commissioner Zhob Division Reviews Health, Education's Matters

Commissioner Zhob Division, Bashir Ahmed Khan Bazai on Wednesday said the provincial government is taking steps on top priority to improve performances of health and education institutions for provision of facilities to masses in the area.

He said this while chairing a meeting to review health and education related problems, said a press release issued here.
Deputy Commissioner Duki, Abdul Nasir Khan Dotani, Deputy Commissioner Barkhan Suhail Ahmed Hashmi, Deputy Commissioner Zhob Abdul Jabbar Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Hazart Wali Kakar, Assistant Commissioner Rehmatullah Qaisarani, Assistatn Commissioner Bori Fiaz Ali, District Health Officer Loralai Ahmed Ali Baloch, DHO Musakhel Muhammad Anwar and other officer attended the meeting.
Deputy Commissioner Duki briefed Commissioner Zhob about the district headquarters hospital of Duki and there is five doctors in the hospital while there is no lady doctor.
He said district headquarters hospital is facing lack of paramedical staffs and shortage of medicines, saying that measures need to be taken to ensure more recruitment process of doctors including female doctor and availability of medicines in it for provision health facilities to the masses.
He said a lot of mines laborers are working in different coalmines and incident of coalmines are occurred in the area due to which service of district hospital should be improved for betterment of workers and citizens.
DHO Ali Ahmed Baloch said steps would be taken to test bloods of laborers who are working in barber shops and hotels in the city, so that their diseases could be diagnosed.
"Action will be taken against medical stores for preventing selling of fake medicine in the area", DHO said, adding that doctors of private hospitals could be monitored in the area because they are playing lives of innocent people.
He said Eye free medical would be set up in Loralai.
Commissioner Zhob Division Basheer Ahmed Khan Bazai instructed the officials to take measures on top priority to ensure provision of health and education facilities to public in the area.
He also ordered the officials to take action against absent doctors to maintain services of district headquarters hospitals in 24 hours for betterment of patients.
The shortage of doctors and other related problems of the area will be addressed by provincial government after assuring in this regard", Commissioner said.
