12 Gangsters Held From Lahore

Investigation Police Sadar Division arrested 12 members of five gangs and recovered looted items worth Rs 6,100,000 and illegal weapons from their possession.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Investigation Police Sadar Division arrested 12 members of five gangs and recovered looted items worth Rs 6,100,000 and illegal weapons from their possession.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, SP Sadar Rashad Hadayat said that gangsters were involved in dacoity, burglary and mobile theft incidents.

On the directions of SSP Investigations, he constintuted different teams which arrested the gangsters and recovered three motorcycles, 16 mobile phones, gold ornaments, prize bonds and illegal weapons.

The outlaws were identified as Shehzad, Fahad, Tanveer, Zahid, Ashfaq, Nadeem, Faisal, Mumtaz, Abdul Majeed, Amjad and Ilyas.

During interrogation, the gangsters confessed to 39 incidents of dacoity and burgalry committed in different areas of the city. Many cases have been traced against the accused.

The police also arrested a person namely Ghulam Haider who fled away after set his wifeNageena Bibi on fire.
