SHANXI, China, (Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018) A delegation from the University of Sharjah, UoS, headed by Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the university, has visited Xi'an International Studies University, XISU, in the Shaanxi province, China.
Receiving the delegation were Prof. Wang Junzhe, President of XISU, along with the Vice President and the Dean of the College of Oriental Studies.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Junzhe welcomed the delegation and discussed their joint endeavors in the areas of academic curriculums, research, teaching methods, and especially the joint project of teaching the Arabic language, for which both parties have signed a cooperation agreement in 2016.
During their visit, the university's delegation had a tour around XISU and visited the university's museum, which houses pictures and sculptures that highlight the history of the University.
The delegation included Dr. Salah Taher, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs; Prof. Abdul Sahib Mehdi Ali, Acting Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; and Dr. Tarek Merabtene, Acting Director of the Office of International Relations at the University of Sharjah.
