More Than 8000 Security Personnel Deployed For 1410 Majalis, 368 Processions In Bahawalpur Division

Police have chalked out a special security plan for processions and Majalis to be conducted from 8th to 10th of Moharam-ul-Haram in Bahawalpur division.
BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Police have chalked out a special security plan for processions and Majalis to be conducted from 8th to 10th of Moharam-ul-Haram in Bahawalpur division.
This was told by Regional Police Officer Bahawalpur Muhammad Faisal Rana while briefing the media persons at his office.
He said that routes of processions are being technically swept while CCTV cameras are used for monitoring. He said that participants of processions and Majalis would be checked at four checkpoints.
He said that pickets have been set up at all the entry and exit points of Bahawalpur Region where all the vehicles are thoroughly checked.
He said that total of 1410 Majalis would be held and 368 processions taken out in Bahawalpur division during last three days of Ashura Moharam for which 2808 police personnel along with 1235 police volunteers, 1763 special police and 2383 volunteers have been deployed. He said that control rooms have been set up in all the three districts.
