SEOUL (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th September, 2018) Seoul and Pyongyang agreed to send a unified team of athletes to the 2020 Olympic Games and to jointly bid for hosting 2032 Games, the joint statement on the results of the inter-Korean summit in Pyongyang says.
"The South and the North decided to participate in international competitions, including 2020 Summer Olimpyc Games, as a joint team, and also to cooperate to jointly bid for hosting 2032 Olympic Games in the South and the North," the document says.
The next Olympic Games will be held from July 24 to August 9, 2020, in Tokyo.
