Supplementary Budget Hailed

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :Various circles of life including business community, industrialists, traders and political figures have welcomed the supplementary budget 2018-19 and said it would have salutary impact on national economy.
Reacting on supplementary finance bill of Federal government, president Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Shabbir Hussain Chawla said the previous government had presented federal budget totally on political basis which mostly depended on foreign loans.
FCCI Chief said the present government took right step at the right time by presenting supplementary finance bill which will be helpful for stabilizing national economy. The supplementary budget will also play a pivotal role in dragging Pakistan out of financial crisis, he added.
Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Lateef Nazar said the supplementary finance bill reflects the foresightedness of the present government that it is committed to overcome the multifaceted problems in the country.
He said in the supplementary budget, the low income class was provided maximum relief without increasing levies and taxes on them.
He said subsidy on fertilizer was also a hallmark step of the government taken in the supplementary finance bill and this step will help the farmers to grow maximum crops for domestic as well as national needs.
He also welcomed the construction of houses for laborers and workers.
