Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX)'s commodity index on Monday closed at 3,425 points.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX)'s commodity index on Monday closed at 3,425 points.
The traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at 6.533 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,579, said a statement on Tuesday. ( The data is compiled and released after 24 hours).
The major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to Rs 2.299 billion, followed by gold Rs 1.578 billion, WTI crude oil Rs 996.081 million, currencies through COTS Rs 679.735 million, DJ Rs 220.688 million, SP500 Rs 187.470 million, silver Rs 179.463 million, natural gas Rs 149.794 million, platinum Rs 131.018 million, copper Rs 102.604 million and Brent crude oil Rs 9.698 million.
In agriculture, 11 lots of cotton amounting to Rs 5.561 million weretraded.
