Mayor of Karachi, Wasim Akhtar said that construction of rain drains by Jammat Punjabi sodagaran-e-dehli in Allahwala Town Korangi is good work.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :Mayor of Karachi, Wasim Akhtar said that construction of rain drains by Jammat Punjabi sodagaran-e-dehli in Allahwala Town Korangi is good work.
The Mayor along with the officials concerned inspected the work of nullah, said a statement on Tuesday.
The Mayor expressed hope that other organizations will also follow the course and said they will support them in these works according to their resources.
Vice chairman of DMC Korangi Ahmer Ali, chairman works committee Hasan Naqvi, chairman parks committee Khurram Farhan, D.
G technical service, chief engineer Korangi, representatives of Karachi water and sewerage board, former president KCCI Shamim firpu and residents of the area were also present.
The Mayor said that they want to make this area an ideal town and its sewerage problems were being resolved.
Two side roads will be constructed after completion of this rain drains with 500 plants provided for making this area green and beautiful, he added.
Earlier, the office bearers of Jamat Punjabi sodagaran-e-dehli in Allahwala Town expressed gratitude to the Mayor for the developmentworks.
