Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assures To Remove Weaknesses From KP LG System To Make It Responsive To People's Problems

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has assured the strengthening of local government system in the province adding that the weaknesses in the system would be removed in order to make it responsive to the resolution of people's problems at local level.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has assured the strengthening of local government system in the province adding that the weaknesses in the system would be removed in order to make it responsive to the resolution of people's problems at local level.
He was holding a meeting with Senior Minister Muhammad Atif Khan and Shehram Tarakai at Chief Minister House Peshawar.
The meeting focused on strengthening the local government system in order to give relief to the people. The meeting also focused on the youth related problems and provision of facilities, encouraging tourism and creating jobs at mass scale for the jobless youth.
It also discussed the sports and other recreational facilities for the youth throughout the province. The meeting took a number of steps for strengthening the local governance system for efficient delivery at local level. It also decided promotion of tourism, creation of self employment scheme for the educated youth and other sports and recreational facilities throughout the province.
Chief Minister held out assurance that his government would strengthen the local governance structure making it people friendly. He said that the developmental process would be streamlined and the governance related issues would be resolved in order to strengthen the local governance structure at the lowest tiers where the people have problems and those problems needed to be resolved at local level.
Mahmood Khan assured that tourism would be developed on modern lines in the province making it the backbone of provincial economy. His government would initiate generating self employment schemes for the youth.
Simultaneously the government would not go out of focus for the initial work related to the welfare of the youth that included the creation of sporting and recreational facilities throughout the province.
