Ceasefire Breaches Registered In 3 Syrian Provinces, City Of Aleppo - Russian Military

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th September, 2018) Multiple ceasefire violations have been registered in the Syrian provinces of Latakia, Hama and Aleppo, as well as in the city of Aleppo over past 24 hours, the head of the Russian Center for Syrian reconciliation, Vladimir Savchenko, said on Monday.

"Over the past 24 hours, insurgents attacked the settlements of Qellaz-Tahtani, Jubb al-Zaur (twice), Safsafa (twice), Qabuh, Ikko, Kinsabba (three times), Qalaat Marza, Latakia province, districts of Castello (twice), Hara (three times), Handrat, Sheikh-ali-Kobtani (three times), Halab-al-Jadid, vicinity of research centre (five times) in Aleppo city, and the town of Zalaqiyat, Hama province. Besides, there have been three shelling attacks at southwest outskirts of Tadef, Aleppo province," Savchenko said in a statement, published on the ministry's website.

He added that the center had held two humanitarian operations over the past 24 hours, distributing one tonne of bread in Aleppo's Kareem-al-Meysar district, and delivering 750 school backpacks as well as 750 sets of children's clothes to the residents of the city of Duma.

Russia, Turkey and Iran are the guarantors of the ceasefire regime in Syria, while Moscow has also been assisting Damascus through supporting the struggle against terrorist groups, and providing humanitarian aid to civilians.
