According to the Yonhap news agency, the US envoy is going to meet key South Korean officials during his two-day visit to the country.
Biegun was appointed to the position on August 23 and made his first visit to South Korea after his appointment early this week, then made trips to Beijing and Tokyo. Thus, this is his second visit to Seoul in one week.
The visit takes place just a few days before the inter-Korean summit, which is expected to focus on the issue of denuclearization.
The meeting of South Korean President Moon Jae-In and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will be held in Pyongyang on September 18-20.
