MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th September, 2018) Five people were killed in a crash of a military helicopter in the west of Afghanistan, local media reported Saturday.

The incident occurred on Saturday in the province of Farah, the 1TV broadcaster reported.

All the servicemen on board, including four passengers and a pilot, were killed in the crash, the broadcaster said, citing governor of the Khaki Safed district Mohammad Navrozi.

According to Navrozi, the helicopter was fired at by the Taliban militants.
