MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th September, 2018) At least 907,000 consumers in the United States were left without electricity as a result of the Florence tropical storm off the coast of North Carolina, local media reported Saturday.
According to the latest data reported by the ABC broadcaster, five people, including a child were killed as a result of the disaster, one person was hospitalized because of injuries.
On Friday, the Florence hurricane has weakened to a tropical storm, with wind speed dropping to 110 kilometers per hour (68 miles per hour). The authorities warned that it was necessary to remain in shelters, despite the weakening of Florence.
It is expected that the storm will continue to gradually weaken over the weekend.
