The alleged food blogger and social media influencer was receiving complementary food for writing their reviews in return
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 14th September, 2018) A woman, who claimed to be a food blogger and social media influencer, was arrested in India on Tuesday.
The Delhi police when found out that the woman named Swati has not written a single blog after having free meals that she has been enjoying for over past five years, arrested her.
The Gurgaon based woman was arrested from a restaurant, where she was caught red-handed having free breakfast. The restaurant tricked her by offering a free meal and she promised to write food review.
The alleged food blogger and social media influencer was receiving complementary food from the most popular restaurants and cafes of Delhi and in return, she was supposed to write positive reviews about the restaurant on her blog. However, it was found out that Swati doesn’t own any food blog or a website and hasn’t ever written any content about the food that she consumed for free.
After Swati arrived at the restaurant, the manager immediately informed the police about her whereabouts.
The police arrived and arrested her on the spot.
Her first court hearing is fixed for today.
