"Representatives of the Astana guarantor countries met in Geneva on September 10-11 with the special envoy of the UN secretary general on Syria. They discussed the formation and regulations of the constitutional commission, which is an important stage in the efforts to ensure a political solution to the Syrian crisis. The agreement was reached in principle on the lists of candidates proposed by the Syrian regime and the opposition," it said.
