Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has created the National Center to coordinate efforts to fight cyberattacks on critically important infrastructure, the relevant decree of FSB head Alexander Bortnikov was published on Monday.

"I order to create the National Coordination Center for Cyber Incidents," the document read.

According to the decree, the new agency will coordinate efforts to detect, prevent and respond to cyberattacks, exchange information between relevant agencies and foreign colleagues, analyze past cyberattacks and elaborate methods to counter them.
