The North Korean delegation to the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) will discuss with the Russian side economic cooperation and development of the North Korean port of Rajin, the issue of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula will not be addressed, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik.
VLADIVOSTOK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th September, 2018) The North Korean delegation to the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) will discuss with the Russian side economic cooperation and development of the North Korean port of Rajin, the issue of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula will not be addressed, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik.
"This is a bilateral meeting, economic issues will be discussed, including Rajin, this issue is on the agenda. Economic aspects, not denuclearization," the source said.
The North Korean delegation is led by Minister of External Economic Relations Kim Yong Jae. Earlier in the day, the North Korean Consulate General told Sputnik that the minister had already arrived in the Russian city of Vladivostok that host the EEF.
