VLADIVOSTOK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th September, 2018) China, Japan and South Korea are top three importers of goods from Russia's Eastern Federal District, a research conducted by the Deloitte international company providing consulting services showed on Sunday.
Thus, South Korea's imports from the Eastern Federal District totaled $9.6 billion during the period from January 2017 to June 2018. China became the second largest importer of the goods from the Eastern Federal District in the corresponding period, with the Chinese imports having totaled ($7.7 billion). Japan became third, with the country's imports in the relevant period having amounted to $7.6 billion.
Belgium and India also ranked among major trade partners of the region, having imported goods worth $3,7 billion and $1.2 billion from the Eastern Federal District respectively.
According to the company, the exports of the Russian Eastern Federal District are four times higher than the region's imports.
