The United States has sanctioned Kenyan national Waleed Ahmed Zein over his connection to the Islamic State (outlawed in Russia) terrorist group, the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said in a notice on its website on Friday.
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th September, 2018) The United States has sanctioned Kenyan national Waleed Ahmed Zein over his connection to the Islamic State (outlawed in Russia) terrorist group, the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said in a notice on its website on Friday.
"ZEIN, Waleed Ahmed, Mombasa, Kenya; DOB 14 Mar 1991; Passport A120391 (Kenya); National ID No. 33987482 (Kenya) (individual) [SDGT] (Linked To: ISLAMIC STATE OF IRAQ AND THE LEVANT)," the notice said.
