MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th September, 2018) German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas will begin his two-day visit to Turkey on Wednesday.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has said that Maas would hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the parliament speaker, Binali Yildirim, during his trip.
According to the ministry, the politicians will cover Turkish-German bilateral relations, the process of Ankara's accession to the European Union and existing regional and international issues. Maas himself has said that the situation in the Syrian Idlib province will be a key issue on the agenda of his upcoming negotiations with the Turkish officials.
