Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said on Friday that he looks forward to meeting with US Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker to convey to him that Russia is ready to constructively discuss the Minsk agreements.
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 31st August, 2018) Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said on Friday that he looks forward to meeting with US Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker to convey to him that Russia is ready to constructively discuss the Minsk agreements.
"Before leaving for Washington, I had an opportunity to meet with [Russian presidential aide Vladislav] Surkov, who is determined to continue his contacts with his partner Ambassador Volker," Antonov told the Rossiya 1 tv channel. "I look forward to a meeting with Volker to convey this message directly to Volker and to confirm the readiness of the Russian side for a constructive dialogue on what we can do together in order to save rather than allow the destruction of the Minsk agreements."
