Russian Defense Ministry is asking the Foreign Ministry to boost work with the US side to improve the situation in the Rukban refugee camp in Syria, the head of Russia's National Defense Control Center, Col. Gen. Mikhail Mizintsev, said on Thursday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th August, 2018) Russian Defense Ministry is asking the Foreign Ministry to boost work with the US side to improve the situation in the Rukban refugee camp in Syria, the head of Russia's National Defense Control Center, Col. Gen. Mikhail Mizintsev, said on Thursday.
"I ask you to intensify work with the US partners through diplomatic channels on providing humanitarian access to the Rukban camp as soon as possible, as well as on ensuring return of refugees to their homes," Mizintsev said at a meeting with Nikolai Burtsev, a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
