The life of a Russian citizen who was injured during the recent unrest in the German city of Chemnitz is out of danger, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th August, 2018) The life of a Russian citizen who was injured during the recent unrest in the German city of Chemnitz is out of danger, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday.

On Tuesday, the Russian Embassy in Germany said that Russian national Dmitry M. was injured in clashes during protests on Monday, but his condition was considered not life-threatening.

"The Consulate General in Leipzig is in constant contact with him, and now his life is not in danger," Zakharova told a briefing.

A 35-year old German national was fatally stabbed in Chemnitz on Sunday. A number of rallies have been held in the city since then.
