The militants were spotted by the Turkish Air Force units in the province's Beytussebap district and were "neutralized" during an air operation, according to the Anadolu news agency.

Turkish security forces carry out regular raids against PKK militants, who have been engaged in the armed conflict with Ankara since 1984. The operations are targeting militants linked to the organization in Iraqi Kurdistan region and Syria as well as in Turkey.
