Russia's Rostec state corporation signed contracts worth more than 100 billion rubles (about $1.5 billion) during the Army-2018 defense industry forum, compared to about 40 million rubles last year, the company's press service said on Tuesday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th August, 2018) Russia's Rostec state corporation signed contracts worth more than 100 billion rubles (about $1.5 billion) during the Army-2018 defense industry forum, compared to about 40 million rubles last year, the company's press service said on Tuesday.
"This year we had more than 120 meetings with both Russian and international partners. The sum of contracts signed [by Rostec at the forum] exceeded 100 billion rubles," the press service said.
The company said that the contracts covered a wide range of issues, including supplies of military equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Army-2018 forum, held at the Patriot congress and exhibition center in the town of Kubinka, the Moscow Region, concluded on Sunday. Representatives from 118 countries participated in the forum's exhibition.
