An official notification in this regard is expected to be issued today
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 28th August, 2018) Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the appointment of Shehryar Afridi as Minister of State for Interior.
The prime minister has directed Afridi to look into the matters of Interior Ministry.
According to reports, PM Imran was briefed by Ministry of Interior officials yesterday. Afridi was especially invited to the meeting.
An official notification in this regard is expected to be issued today, sources said.
Afridi was elected MNA from Kohat during in the general elections. He also won from a PTI seat during the 2013 general election.
