MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th August, 2018) �The demands to convince the United States that Russia does not use chemical weapons are ridiculous: Moscow, unlike Washington, destroyed its chemical arsenal, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
Lavrov said the United States earlier announced new anti-Russian measures under the pretext of Russia's alleged involvement in the "Skripal affair", adding that Moscow received threats of more pressure if it fails to convince the United States that it no longer uses chemical and biological weapons.
"It is difficult to take such demands seriously. They look particularly strange with account for the fact that we completely destroyed our chemical arsenal, unlike the United States, and this was confirmed by the OPCW," Lavrov said in an interview with the Slovak newspaper Pravda.
