Belarusian President Says Meeting With Putin On Bilateral Trade Issues To Take Place Soon

MINSK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th August, 2018) Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Saturday that a new meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin will take place soon with participation of both countries' cabinet members.

Lukashenko and Putin last met earlier in the week in the Russian city of Sochi.

"The most important thing was that we agreed on with the Russian president is that literally in the next few days we will find an opportunity in our schedules ... to meet in a wider format, as suggested by Vladimir Putin, to expand at the expense of the representatives of our governments,� Lukashenko told the Belarus-1 broadcaster.

The president added that the meeting will be devoted to the issues in bilateral trade and economy.
