MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd August, 2018) Russia and Cambodia on Wednesday signed an intergovernmental agreement on military cooperation, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The document was signed by Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin and Gen. Neang Phat, the secretary of state of Cambodia's Ministry of National Defence, the ministry said.
The meeting of the two defense officials unfolded in "a friendly atmosphere" and confirmed both sides' readiness to boost the multidimensional partnership.
The officials discussed the topical issues of military and defense industry cooperation as well as prospects for the future development.
