SOCHI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd August, 2018) Russia expects that during the Finnish presidency of the Council of the EU Helsinki will be able to achieve positive results in restoring relations between Moscow and Brussels, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday.
"Finland will lead the EU in the second half of 2019. We very much hope that during the Finnish presidency we will also be able to do something positive to restore the normal state of Russia-EU relations," Putin told journalists following talks with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto in Russia's Black Sea resort of Sochi.
