MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd August, 2018) The political correctness in the United States has gone too far, leaning toward authoritarianism, and is used as an excuse by multinational corporations trying to integrate the country with neighboring socialist and communist states in order to get "compliant" citizens, Alex Jones, the founder of conspiracy theory website InfoWars, told Sputnik in an interview.
Earlier in August, Twitter put Jones' account in a read-only mode over the latter's violation of the social media platform's policy on abuse after posting a tweet with a link to a video in which Jones described mainstream media as the "enemy" and called for violence. Jones, in turn, claimed that the account had been shut down because of his calls on US President Donald Trump to take action against internet censorship.
"Big multinational corporations want to integrate the United States with islam, Socialist and Communist Republics south of the border and they just want a compliant, controlled population. Thats what political correctness is now, its a form of authoritarianism and the public not just here," Jones said.
He suggested that the rejection of political correctness was at the core of populist movements across the world.
"Everywhere, people want self-determination, they want to control their own lives, and they do not want a monopolar corporate world government that dominates the nation states. They want a multipolar world," Jones stressed.
Jones has become known for his largely discredited conspiracy theories, including those about the events of 9/11 and the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting.
