MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd August, 2018) An earthquake of magnitude 6.9 occurred in the northern Venezuelan state of Sucre, European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported on Tuesday.
Initially, the agency estimated the magnitude at 7.3, but downgraded it a few minutes later.
The shocks were registered on Tuesday at 21:31 GMT at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There have not yet been any reports of casualties, destruction and tsunami.
