MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd August, 2018) The Russian authorities have developed countermeasures to offset the impact of the US ban on exports of dual-purpose products, inaccessible electronic components will be imported from the Southeast Asian countries, the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry said Tuesday.
"We have already developed a set of response measures, which should offset the impact of US actions. We will replace inaccessible components whenever possible with domestically-developed ones, the rest could be imported from countries in Southeast Asia, these markets are open for us," the ministry's press service cited Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov as saying.
