LESCO To Ensure Proper Power Supply During Eid Days

Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) has finalized arrangement to cope with any emergency situation and check the power outages during Eidul Azha days.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Aug, 2018 ) :Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) has finalized arrangement to cope with any emergency situation and check the power outages during Eidul Azha days.
The company's Chief Executive Officer Mujahid Pervez Chattha stated this while chairing a meeting at LESCO Head Office on Monday. He said that special teams would remain alert to ensure proper supply of electricity in all regions of the LESCO.
Later in a media statement, Chief Engineer (Operation and Maintenance) Chaudhry Muhammad Amin said that special teams had been constituted to avert any emergency situation and ensure continuous supply of electricity to all LESCO consumers. He mentioned that on the directives of LESCO chief, the SEs and XENs would monitor their respective circles, while all the SDOs and field staff would remain on duty during Eid days.
He said that XEN (PDC) had been appointed as focal person, who would resolve the power outages' problems during Eid holidays.
Muhammad Amin added that CEO had also directed the field store managers to provide additional transformers and trolleys in all divisions of the company, besides ensuring availability of all relevant materials in the LESCO's complaint offices.
The LESCO Chief also appealed to the consumers to contact immediately their respective complaint offices in case of any emergency situation with regard to power supply.
